Covered Classics (2016)

Celebrating Song With A New Take On Classics

For a second consecutive year, legendary Canadian songs newly inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame (CSHF) will be publically honoured through our song induction series, Covered Classics.

A collaboration between the CSHF and CBC/Radio-Canada, Covered Classics invites our nation’s finest musical talent to perform their version of a classic song to celebrate its induction into the Hall of Fame.

Song inductions are announced on a regular basis and related content, including the song covers, is featured across CSHF, SOCAN, CBC Music, and ICI Musique digital platforms, as well as on CBC Radio.
