She is an Officer of the Order of Canada, the recipient of the Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards for Lifetime Achievement and is a Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee. Sarah McLachlan was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Toronto's Massey Hall. McLachlan was presented with her award by Nelly Furtado.

The iconic Tom Cochrane is a born storyteller, his songwriting informed by a deep social conscience. Born in the northern Manitoba town of Lynn Lake in 1953 and raised in Etobicoke, Ontario, Cochrane has released a grand total of 17 albums as solo artist and band leader. Tom Cochrane was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Toronto's Massey Hall. Cochrane was presented with his award by Gil Moore.

Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor were inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame on Saturday, September 28, 2024. Cuddy and Keelor were presented with their award by Ron MacLean.

Diane Tell was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame on Saturday, September 28, 2024. Tell was presented with her award by Pierre Brassard.
