Metric and Sam Roberts Join Powerhouse Line-Up of Performers at 2024 Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

TORONTO, ON – The Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame has unveiled a new wave of performers set to take the stage at the 2024 CSHF Induction Ceremony presented by Amazon Music, at Massey Hall in Toronto on September 28, 2024. The all-star group of artists will be performing in honour of this year’s illustrious group of songwriting inductees: iconic storyteller Tom Cochrane, co-leaders of the legendary band Blue Rodeo Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor, international superstar Sarah McLachlan and Quebec’s emblematic and pioneering singer-songwriter Diane Tell.

Performers announced today include:

• East coast indie rocker Adam Baldwin
• ADISQ Award-winning Quebec pop star Ariane Roy
• Multi JUNO Award-winning lead singer of The Glorious Sons Brett Emmons
• JUNO Award-winner Dominique Fils-Aimé
• Globally-recognized artist La Zarra
• Chart-topping roots rocker Matt Mays
• Illustrious multi JUNO-winning band Metric
• Acclaimed singer songwriter Rafaëlle Roy
• Multi JUNO-winning Canadian rock royalty Sam Roberts
• JUNO Award-nominated Terra Lightfoot

Also announced today, inductees from this year’s class – Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor and Sarah McLachlan – will all take the Massey Hall stage to perform.

They join previously announced performers: AHI, Gary LeVox (Rascal Flatts), William Prince, Dallas Smith, Tenille Townes and Whitehorse.

The 2024 honourees will be inducted by: music icon and member of Triumph Gil Moore, actor/comedian Pierre Brassard and legendary hockey broadcaster Ron MacLean.

Tickets for the induction ceremony are on sale via Ticketmaster.

Following the Induction Ceremony celebration in Toronto, the Class of 2024 inductees will be indelibly honoured at the CSHF’s permanent location at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre in Calgary, which features exclusive artifacts and one-of-a-kind memorabilia celebrating Canada’s greatest songwriters and inductees.
