AHI, Dallas Smith, Tenille Townes, Whitehorse, William Prince to Perform in Honour of Inductees Tom Cochrane, Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor, Sarah McLachlan and Diane Tell
TORONTO, ON – The Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame (CSHF) is pleased to announce the host and initial lineup of artists confirmed to perform at the 2024 CSHF Induction Ceremony presented by Amazon Music, at Massey Hall in Toronto on September 28, 2024. Among the performers is Gary LeVox, the legendary vocalist and frontman of Rascal Flatts, one of country music’s most influential bands. Rascal Flatts famously recorded Cochrane’s iconic chart-topper “Life Is a Highway” in 2005, reviving the song’s popularity for a new generation.
The CSHF is also thrilled to announce multi-platinum selling artist and television personality Marie-Mai as host of the ceremony. Marie-Mai has performed in front of 2 million fans, including 15 sold out concerts at Montreal’s Bell Centre, and is a 5-time ADISQ Award winner for Female Artist of the Year. This year, she will be a judge on Quel Talent!, Quebec’s version of the Got Talent franchise.
The first round of artists set to perform at the CSHF Induction Ceremony include:
The all-star lineup of musicians will take the stage in honour of this year’s illustrious group of songwriting inductees: iconic storyteller Tom Cochrane, co-leaders of the legendary band Blue Rodeo Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor, international superstar Sarah McLachlan and Quebec’s emblematic and pioneering singer-songwriter Diane Tell.
More performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets for the induction ceremony are on sale now via Ticketmaster.
Following the Induction Ceremony celebration in Toronto, the Class of 2024 inductees will be indelibly honoured at the CSHF’s permanent location at Studio Bell, home of the National Music Centre in Calgary, which features exclusive artifacts and one-of-a-kind memorabilia celebrating Canada’s greatest songwriters and inductees.
The CSHF extends its gratitude to the 2024 Induction Ceremony sponsors: Amazon Music, RBC Foundation, Kilometre Music Group, YouTube Music, Hargraft Insurance, SOCAN Foundation, Germain Hotels, Boucher Guitars, Slaight Music, and CMRRA.

ABOUT CANADIAN SONGWRITERS HALL OF FAME The Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame (CSHF) is a national and non-profit organization that is dedicated to honouring and celebrating Canadian songwriters and those who’ve dedicated their lives to the legacy of music. The CSHF also works to educate the public about these achievements, and to foster the next generation of songwriters through year-round initiatives and events. In December of 2011, SOCAN (the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada) acquired the CSHF; and the Hall of Fame continues to be run as a separate organization, guided by its own Board of Directors, comprised of both Anglophone and Francophone music creators and publishers, as well as representation from the record industry. The CSHF’s mandate aligns with SOCAN’s objectives as a songwriter and publisher membership-based organization. www.cshf.ca
